Sunbridge Institute of English began in 1998 to provide training in teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language for native English speaking people interested in teaching overseas (in countries where English is not the first language).
Our TESOL course has been welcomed by new teachers wanting to learn the ins and outs of teaching ESL. It provides a solid foundation in teaching methodologies upon which they can add experiential learning. Our certificate is accepted by schools around the world. We receive gratifying comments from experienced teachers and education ministries about the depth of the course. It has been accepted by universities for up to six credits towards graduate level degree programs of study.
Through an agreement with Glengarry University, our TESOL course may be used to satisfy the first component requirement towards their Master of Arts/TESOL degree.
